What’s the Imagine Cup Software Design Invitational
(IC
SDI) kit?
Local competition kits are available for Imagine Cup Software Design Invitational
(IC SDI). You can design and hold one local IC SDI competition of your choosing
for each course or student club that meets the eligibility requirements, and Microsoft
will provide prizes to the winning student teams.
It’s up to you how the winning team in your course or club is selected – you can
either create your own competition rules or use the IC SDI rules on the official
Imagine Cup website. There is a limit of one kit per course/club local competition.
To be eligible to receive a kit, the students in your course or club must meet the
following criteria:
- IC SDI Round One (Fall): Each course or club must have 3 teams who submit
valid entries. Each team can have up to 4 students (a total minimum of 8 competitors
required).
- IC SDI Round Two (Spring): Each course or club must have 2 teams who submit
valid entries. Each team can have up to 4 students (a total minimum of 5 competitors
required).
Each IC SDI local competition kit includes:
- One $50 gift card provided to each student of the winning local competition team
(limit 4 students per team)
- A PR contact, who will work with you throughout the US Imagine Cup competition.
- IT Academy
Student Passes - Every student who joins a team will get 1 IT Academy pass to
get the training that they need to complete their project.
- There are a limited number of kits, so please Contact
Us to inquire about additional kits.
